Upper Kirby homes often have fireplace walls designed around a TV, with stone or plaster surrounds, gas inserts, and mantels. We still check the heat at the wall before drilling and can use a tilting bracket to angle the screen toward the sofa.
Larger TVs are common, especially 75 inches and up, so the mount and hardware need to be rated for the TV’s weight. For TVs over 85 inches, we bring heavy-duty hardware and an extra technician when needed. Any additional charge is shown before you book.
Above a fireplace, and on stone, we hide the cables in a slim paintable channel instead of cutting into the wall. On drywall away from the fireplace, we can run the cables inside the wall to an outlet behind the TV.
